Officially it is know as Elizabeth Tower. It was renamed from Clock Tower to Elizabeth Tower to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee in 2012. However it is still referred to as “Big Ben”.

When the missionaries came to Africa they had the Bible and we had the land. They said ‘Let us pray.’ We closed our eyes. When we opened them we had the Bible and they had the land.
