Officially it is know as Elizabeth Tower. It was renamed from Clock Tower to Elizabeth Tower to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee in 2012. However it is still referred to as “Big Ben”.

We left Budapest early evening on a Viking river cruise that would take us from Budapest to Amsterdam and this is the scene that greeted us as we left. Very nice start to our trip.
